Mayor & Council

The City of Howard operates under a Mayor/City Council form of government.  The city is divided into 3 Wards with two council members representing each ward.  The mayor is elected from the city at large.

The City Council meets the second Monday after the first of each month. All meetings are held in the Council Chambers in the Municipal Building at 100 South Main Street, Howard, SD. All meetings are open to the public.
