Garbage Services

The City of Howard contracts with Dawson Construction to provide garbage pick-up. Residents are required to sign-up for this service when they sign up for other municipal utilties. You will be billed for these services with your city utility bill.

Rates
Residential:  a monthly fee of $20.21 per household

Commercial:  For every commercial business a minimum fee of $23.39 per month, provided however, that any commercial establishment requiring collection more frequently than once a week shall pay additional charge commensurate with the frequency of pickup and quantity of garbage and rubbish required to be collected, which said additional fee shall be established from time to time by contract garbage collector, subject to the approval of the City Council.
