Troy ensures proper testing and chemical treatment of water, responsible for repair and maintenance of pumping stations and water lines, all water hookups and disconnects. Ensures proper maintenance of water meters and installation of new water meters. Performs all required testing of water for proper chlorine and fluoride levels, Submits water samples for bacteriologic and fluoride analysis, also analysis for organics, inorganic, and the presence of gross alpha activity. Forwards result to the Environmental Protection Agency to comply with federal Safe Drinking Water Act. Maintains and repairs the sanitary sewer system and insures proper operation and maintenance of the City lagoon system and all related equipment, including ensuring proper testing and reporting procedures and working with regulatory environmental control agencies as appropriate. Performs maintenance of pool and operates and maintains all pool mechanical operations.
